Unconditional Love

I have heard many people / books saying you need to devote unconditional love to god to get his blessings. Are we talking about any trading here? No, It is give and take and it doesn't mean that god will not bless atheist. So exactly what is this unconditional love then? Let's see it thru an example to make it easy to understand for every one.

I will tell you one such example where you already have unconditional love on something....if you would have guessed it by now then you are great...It is nothing but money. It is tough to earn money in good way (I mean earn not to inherit) and practically very tough to protect it, And money comes in and goes out, you had some time when you didn't had enough money to do certain things, some times you had more than you need. At all times you loved it; is it correct or not? No one hated it even when they did not had them in enough. That is unconditional love; if you have it or you do not have it or running for it whatever it may be.
Now lets have our faith in god and love him unconditionally irrespective of god helped you or not in the past. This is a start and you will realize it soon. Try this and let me know.

Purpose

There has to be a purpose behind each and everything. This has been agreed by everyone including theist and atheist. I would like to quote from a wonderful book that I read "Living with Himalayan Masters" by Swami Rama here:

“I wanted to pick the flower and considered pulling it out and taking the whole plant to my master. I compared own life to this lotus and said like an irresponsible, joyous child, “What will happen to you if I crush your petals?”

The lotus replied, “I will be glad, for my fragrance will radiate everywhere and the purpose of my life will be fulfilled.”
 

Everything which is movable, immovable, perishable, invisible, manmade, natural things have their own purpose. For example

1.       Chair – To sit

2.       Water – To quench the thirst

3.       Pen – To write

4.       TV – To provide entertainment

I can keep on adding the list, but that's not the purpose of this article. Why we are here in this planet and what is our purpose as humans? I don’t know the answer and still keep thinking about this all the time. Please fill in your views in comments. Thanks for reading and sharing!
